On a drive north of Bessemer there are trails that lead back to some wonderful falls along the Black River. The river eventually flows into Lake Superior. If you visit western Upper Peninsula, you have to see the falls of the Black River and the suspension bridge that leads to the beach on the "Big Lake."
I have to say that the pictures warm my heart. Brings me a little closer to the area of Michigan I would love to call home. Maybe someday.....I have been visitng the Gogebic County area all my life. It is a part of me. One of God's most beautiful creations. Lake Superior is pretty awesome. Beth Richards
